Thriving on the rhythm
Hot lights blazing
Guitar screaming
Bass throbbing
Keys melodically moving
Voices heralding
Breaking on through to the other side
Living on the dark side of the moon
Understanding the Siberian Khatru
More than a feelin'
Drumming. Drumming. Drumming.
Just an average guy that really likes to have fun and playing music. So many bands, so little time. Music has taken me across the continent mostly playing original blues from Jamaica and the Chicago Blues Fest to the Monterey Jazz and Blues Festival and the famous Catalina Island Blues Festival. My skills have landed me in studio's around the Chicagoland area playing for names as varied as Roger Connelly, Mr. H - Baron of the Blues (featured in Martin Scorsese's documentary “The Blues”), Bruce Gomez (jingle genius), and most recently with Kevin Chalfant (The Storm) on the Haley Crouch - The Comet Blues Band album, a 16 year-old blues harp prodigy. I’m happy to finally be in a band with my ol’ college buddy "Vic" Victoria (bass).
Some of the bands I've played with include: Cliché, The Packages, Sexton Blake, The Sensational Salami Bros., Like This, After Five Orchestra, Roger Connelly and the Bad Weather Blues Band/Blues Merchant, The Blueskeepers, and now Vital Signs!
